Administration

Superintendent
Danielle Sochor

Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members of Bellmawr:

am honored to serve as your newly appointed superintendent. I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich tradition of quality education and service to others. I look forward to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to raise student achievement through research-based instruction, enhancing teacher pedagogy, and fostering the home and school partnership with an emphasis on parent education.

My role as a superintendent is multifaceted and is driven by a clear vision for excellence and teaching. I will build effective relationships with all stakeholders to advocate for the needs of the students and the district. As Superintendent of Schools, I will be accessible to parents, provide professional development opportunities, maintain close relationships with our building administrators and connect with our precious children. As a district we will continue to provide our students with opportunities to explore, think critically, and to solve problems  When our students leave our district, they will be fully equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed beyond our walls.

I was proud to have the opportunity to serve as the Chief Academic Officer in the Glassboro Public School District focusing on curriculum, instruction,  and special education for the past ten years. Recently, I had the opportunity to serve as a principal for one of my elementary schools. I am a graduate of Rutgers University and I obtained my Master’s in Educational Administration and Special Education from Rider University. Currently, I present at various universities, school districts, and the NJ School Boards Convention on best practices in reading instruction and special education. I have dedicated my career in education to inspiring students, encouraging teachers, and communicating openly with parents.

At this time, I would like to thank Annette Castiglione for her years of dedication and unyielding devotion to the Bellmawr students and community. I am truly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her as I transition to this new role.

It is an exciting time to join the Bellmawr family and I am looking forward to meeting all of you over the next couple months. Along with all our staff, we are passionate about supporting student achievement.

I wish you continued health, safety, and well-being for you and your family.

Sincerely,

Danielle Sochor,
Superintendent
