Basic Skills Homework

Pink Work Sticker

It is imperative that students who are receiving additional support in basic skills, read everyday.  There is a direct correlation between time spent reading and student achievement in literacy.  The most basic activity you can do to support your child is to read. Read books, newspaper, signs, directions, cookbooks, labels, and much more! This is often the assignment that is skipped yet this practice is a determining key to student success. I have listed below wonderful websites that student can practice reading in addition to using their own books at home. In addition to that, you can also access the application for a Bellmawr Public Library card!
